After a wonderful lunch, Marc and I go outside and he lets me in on several insights to Jiaogulan. Some key points I took away with me is that this tea was officially first studied to be used as an alternative sweetener before discovering all of the amazing health qualities people have come to love- such as antioxidants, gypenosides, and adaptogens.
